Fantastic customized island tour
We came for a work conference, arrived late due to flight delays and Jack worked out a totally awesome tour in the time we had.
Excellent Tour!
We chose Jack as our guide from an online booking service. I had contacted Jack several times by email prior to our visit. He was always prompt to reply and answered all my questions. We arrived by cruise ship and Jack was there waiting for us in the terminal. His van was clean and roomy enough for our party of 3. He also had room for our folding walker with no problems. We had booked a five hour tour of P.E.I. and Jack was extremely knowledgeable of the history and culture of his island. He is well versed and very friendly. Jack showed us Charlottetown and gave us the history there. We then proceeded to Rustico and North Rustico continuing the history of the island. He also gave us various options as we went along, of things nearby that we could visit if we chose. Jack gave us choices of whether to get out or not due to our limited mobility, or offered options based on our mobility issues. We stopped at a small village where the lobster boats were returning and Jack gave us a demonstration of how lobster traps work, using visual aids. We had asked in advance about stopping for lunch at a local eatery for seafood. He chose a great place where we were able to get great lobster rolls and we shared a nice meal with Jack. He even took us to a specialty ice cream place on our way back to the ship.
Jack was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend him if you plan to visit P.E.I.
A great surprise!
Having had our tour arranged by a travel company we were not sure what to expect. We ended up having a great tour throughout the area with Jack. He is knowledgable about the history of the area as well as entertaining as he pointed out many details of the island. Highly recommended!
Amazing Tour with Kevin O’Neil
Our group of five arranged a 5 hour tour of PEI with Jack and we’re able to see everything we had on our list plus many other sites that we would not have been able to reach by bus. Kevin O’Neil was our guide and was excellent. He gave us history of the island while driving by different areas so the time flew by. Kevin not only showed us the mussel & oyster farms but taught us how they are farmed. Thank you Kevin & Jack
