We joined another family I had met thru the CruiseCritic rollcall for a great day with driver Jack DesRoches. Jack was full of information about his home. In a few hours we got the flavour of PEI from a native, learned important history and culture, and met up with Duncan for an excellent lesson in lobstering. We visited a lighthouse, national park, art gallery, historic church, and the best ice cream shop. Only two things could have made the day better: more time to enjoy the area and having fresh lobster with new friends.

Our Guide was Jack D and he was a wonderful host and resource from beginning to end. We had an inquisitive group, with rapid fire questions and I don’t think we stumped him all day. His love of the island shows through. From the pick-up, to the drop-off the day could not have gone more smoothly. The pace is good, not too frantic, we saw a lot of the island but didn’t return drained. Also a shout out to Jack’s behind the scenes baker. I think those may have been the best homemade muffins I have ever had. Thank-you!

Our guide Jack was outstanding in every way. He was friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. Our 4 hour tour of PEI turned to 6 as we asked for more and more. No problem! A great day became even better. We made a special stop at a fishing village and feasted on cold boiled lobster at a nearby picnic spot. Jack’s personal stories about life on the island were most interesting. Every stop was enhanced by Jack’s extensive knowledge. The car was clean and comfortable. We look forward to returning to PEI and seeing Jack again….and feasting on his wife’s homemade muffins.

We were spending one day in PEI because it was part of our itinerary on our cruise ship. We booked the tour of the isle north shore. We LOVED our day with our really really nice guide/driver: JACK. We fell in love with PEI and Jack made us discover his beautiful province with all of his knowledge. Very reliable company with impeccable service.
