Pleasant, laid back, comfortable, home made muffins & a delightful man to spend our day with in PEI! It was all & more than we had hoped for. A private tour, plenty of info but not pressured, time to enjoy & we most certainly did! Thank you Jack & Duncan for providing such excellent service! Don’t worry they will always get you back to your ship!

We arrived in Charlottetown, PEI on a New England/Canada Cruise (ms Rotterdam) October 11. We booked the 4.5+ hr “Island Finest Tour “. Our tour guide, Jack met us in the cruise terminal as arranged. (Very easy and clear instructions had been given ahead of time via email.) Jack was a terrific guide full of interesting information and very personable! We learned all about the local history in the town of Charlottetown, traveled out to Dalvay by the Sea, went to the little town of Rustico, saw the red cliffs at Cavendish and learned about the mussel, oyster and lobster industry AND potato fields!. A brief stop to snap a quick picture at Anne of Green Gables too. We made a couple bathroom/short shopping stops on at a Preserve Company. I feel like we got so much more than the tours the ship was offering! We also had great weather. Two other couples joined us from our ship after posting a notice on Cruise Critic. Made the tour affordable too! What a great day and Jack went out of his way to be an incredible host!

We shared the lighthouse and winery tour with two other couples from our Norwegian Dawn cruise. Jack met us at port. It was raining so he took us for a tour around Charlottetown and talked about the history and the architecture. He was hoping that it would clear up once we headed to the lighthouses and he was right. He had a lot to tell us about the history of the island and the lighthouses that he was taking it to. Jack had some muffins for us along with bottles of water which was a nice touch.

We booked Duncan tours while visiting in Prince Edward Island. Our tour guide was Jack. He was excellent. Jack met us in the cruise terminal, there were 6 of us. He took us around PEI and made frequent stops at attractions. At one stop he gave everyone homemade muffins (which his wife made) and which were excellent as well as bottled water. This was a very nice touch and a hit with all of us. He was very knowledgeable and informative of the area. We highly recommend Duncan tours. Hope you get Jack.

Cannot say enough about the tour we had on PEI with Duncan tours. Our guide was Jack DesRoches. He was excellent. He listened to us and gave us a tour with special interest in the oyster, mussel beds. We loved everything he did for us. He was very informed himself and we learned so much more with his guidance.
